The State Academic Puppet Theater of Almaty presents to its audience the concert performance “Men dep oila” as part of the 95th anniversary celebration of the outstanding Kazakh poet, a classic of national literature, Mukagali Makatayev, whose творчество became a vivid example of poetic mastery and earned the sincere love of the people.
Designed for teenage, youth, and adult audiences, the performance is a tribute to the poet, who is also known among the people as the “nightingale of Kazakh poetry.” The production also aims to popularize his rich creative heritage among the younger generation.
During the performance, the audience will hear the heartfelt poems of Mukagali Makatayev, as well as his most recognizable and beloved songs. From beginning to end, the production creates a nostalgic, lyrical, and deeply emotional atmosphere. Viewers will discover a variety of puppet characters and witness expressive choreographic numbers.
By the end of the performance, the audience’s interest in Mukagali Makatayev’s poetry will grow, inspiring them to revisit his works and attend other productions of the puppet theater.
