Gulim Rakhimova was born in 1976 in the village of Kokzhide, Sarkand District, Almaty Region.
In 1997, she graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov with a degree in puppet theatre acting.
Since 1997, she has been working as an actress at the Almaty State Puppet Theatre.
Since 2022, she has held the position of Head of the Acting Troupe at the Almaty State Puppet Theatre.
In October 2022, she was awarded the “Excellence in Culture” badge.
She is a member of the Union of Theatre Workers.
She is a laureate of the International “Ded Moroz – 2008” competition in Moscow, where she received the “National Snow Maiden” nomination, as well as the “Creative Exploration” nomination for her performance in the play “Three Little Pigs.” In addition, she received a special diploma for Best Snow Maiden role at the “Snowball” competition held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, in 2014.
